Qualification required

Assistant Registrar (on Deputation) – Post Code 1: Master’s degree in relevant discipline with minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA, holding analogous post or at least 4 years regular service as Senior Superintendent in Pay Level 8 or equivalent, with relevant experience in areas such as Finance & Accounts, Establishment, Materials Management, Academics, Student Welfare, R&D, Secretarial Services, Hostel Management, Legal, Contracts or similar.

Junior Superintendent – Post Code 2:

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA and minimum 5 years experience at clerical/supervisory level after degree in relevant administrative areas; duration of full-time Master’s degree (maximum 2 years) is counted towards experience.

Junior Superintendent (Security) – Post Code 3:

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA and at least 5 years experience in Police/Para Military Forces/Armed Forces or security services in reputed organizations/Institutes in areas such as Firefighting, Electronic Surveillance, Crowd Management, Protocol, etc., conversant with security rules and procedures and possessing valid driving licence for light motor vehicle and motor cycle; full-time Master’s duration (max 2 years) counted towards experience.

Senior Engineer (Civil) (on Deputation) – Post Code 4:

Three-year Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA or B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent degree in Civil with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (including integrated M.Tech/M.E.) and at least 6 years regular service as Junior Engineer in Pay Level 6 or equivalent.

Technical Officer (CCS) – Post Code 5:

B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent degree in Computer Science and Engineering/Electronics and Communication Engineering or allied fields with minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade point and relevant experience of six years after qualifying degree in Level 6 or three years experience in Level 7 and above or equivalent; duration of full-time M.Tech/M.E. (max 2 years) and Ph.D. (max 3 years) counted towards experience as specified.

Junior Technical Superintendent (CSE) – Post Code 6:

Three-year Diploma in CSE or allied fields with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA with 6 years relevant experience after diploma, or Bachelor Degree (other than B.Tech/B.E.) in Computer Science/Computer Applications or allied fields with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA with 5 years relevant experience after degree, or B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent in CSE/Information Science or allied fields with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA with 3 years relevant experience; duration of full-time Master’s degree (max 2 years) counted towards experience.

Salary Offered:

Posts are governed by 7th CPC Pay Levels with admissible Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Transport Allowance as per Government of India rules and as applicable at Dharwad, Karnataka.

Post-wise pay levels: Assistant Registrar – Level 10; Junior Superintendent – Level 6; Junior Superintendent (Security) – Level 6; Senior Engineer (Civil) – Level 8; Technical Officer (CCS) – Level 10; Junior Technical Superintendent (CSE) – Level 6.
